In an effort to make this shorter and easier to read, I have decided to embark on a newer, shorter, form of the blog. Let me know what you think! ... I'm also tempted to start a vlog... Let me know what you think!!
So... Have you ever had that awkward moment, when you're on a bus or train, and as it approaches you try to look through the windows to find a spare seat... But as you get on and make your way towards it, someone comes from the other direction and takes it first? And so instead, you go to sit in the seat you’ve almost passed, but the person behind you is about to sit in it? So you have to decide whether to go ahead and sit in the one you were originally going for (and in the process look like you're having a mini fit, as you stopped momentarily, took a step back to sit in the previous chair, then move forward again to take the original seat... It made MUCH more sense in my head)
... I'm going to assume nobody else understood that.
In another, public-transport-related incident, while working out what to blog about, I was talking to a friend of mine (check him out... he blogs a lot more than me... and is usually funnier than me as well; beaniedude.blogspot.com), and he brought up a point that I can SO relate to... And he put it in a much better way than I put my story :P
Ever been faced with that dillemma, when you're on a train or bus and you sit next to someone because there are no other spare seats... At the next stop someone gets off - leaving a pair of seats free... And now you're faced with the choice: Do you move to the newly-created-spare seats, and henceforth away from the person you are sitting next to; or do you stay next to them and leave the spare seats? *ponders*

I would think you'd stay next to the person, because how would you feel ben If some random felt such disdain towards you that they moved away at the first opportunity? You'd be feeling pretty cut.
ReplyDeleteUnless the random you are sitting next to is smelly/offensive/weirding you out or making inappropriate comments.
Then it's ok to move away from them for your own mental health and safety.
Soooo there's my 2 cents, not that theres a two cent coin in use anymore. You may have to slice a 5c coin.
Good day.
